The Pittsfield Parks and Recreation
Commission meets on the second Monday of the month at
7PM. The upcoming meeting schedule is:
July 14th & August 11th - 7pm at the FB Argue Recreation
Area
September 8th, October 13th, November 10 & December 8th,
7pm at the Town Hall.
The
Parks and Recreation Commission is
looking for people who want to have more fun in
the town of Pittsfield. We are looking for a
variety of people with a variety of interests.
If you have new ideas, a hobby or interest you
would like to share with others, or would like
to volunteer to assist at an event or two, then
join us for our next meeting. We are also in
need of a Public Relations Coordinator. The
committee meets on the 2nd Monday of each
month. There is so much we can offer right here
in town, but we need volunteers! Please call
Kathy Boudreau at 435-8344 if you have any
questions.
Mission Statement
The mission of the Pittsfield, NH
Parks and Recreation Commission is to work with public and private
partners to provide diverse year-round leisure opportunities through
the preservation of safe park settings, recreational facilities and
affordable programs for the citizens of Pittsfield. The benefits of
leisure services are especially designed to meet the physical,
mental, cultural, and social needs of our residents and visitors to
our community, while enhancing the overall quality of life in
Pittsfield.
