Building Inspector Position
The Town of Pittsfield, NH is seeking
a Building Inspector to perform a full range of inspection
and code enforcement duties for up to 32 hours a week. The
Building Inspector is appointed by the Board of Selectmen
and reports to the Town Administrator. This position
exercises a considerable degree of independent judgment in
accomplishing the goals and objectives of various Boards and
Commissions. Candidates should have the ability to enforce
a variety of building codes, compose letters and reports,
and communicate effectively with the public and other
employees. Viable candidates should possess a High School
Diploma and two years of building inspection experience
including computer use OR have any equivalent combination of
education and experience that demonstrates possession of the
required knowledge, skills and abilities. A full job

starting pay rate range is $19.00 to $25.00 an hour. Reply

Police Officers:
The Pittsfield Police
Department is currently accepting applications for Full-Time
and Part-Time Police Officer Positions. Applicants must be
21 years of age or older, possess a High School Diploma or
GED Equivalent, and have a valid Drivers License.
Applicants will be required to pass a written exam, physical
agility test, oral board, extensive background
investigation, polygraph test and psychological evaluation.
